Moisture Attracts Silverfish

Another pest that is prone to be in areas that have a good level of moisture are silverfish. They are an insect and not a fish at all. They are silver in color and the way that they move can mimic something that is similar as a fish when it takes off swimming. The one thing that they need to survive happens to be moisture. They will dry out and not make it if they are not in a humid environment. They are often found in bathrooms under wet clothes and even under towels around the pool. You want to make sure that if you have a towel or clothes that are on the ground or in a basket you shake them out well before you use them.

Does Moisture Attract Earwigs?

Another pest that loves to enjoy a nice warm and moist location are earwigs. They are an elongated pest that has a pincher on their backside that they can use as a way of defense. They are dark brown or black and can be found in many of the same places as your silverfish. They also need to have some level of moisture for their comfort. They also are prone to hiding out in these places in the day and coming out at night.
